Classroom resources and trails to be used in our museums

We have a range of learning resources available for use in our museums or back in school. Scroll down to view and download.

Our downloadable resources have been categorised as follows:

  • Trails - ideal for a self-led visit to our venues including GoMA, Kelvingrove Museum, Burrell Collection, St Mungo Museum, Provand's Lordship and Riverside Museum
  • Primary Resources - Ancient Egypt STEM activities and art ideas inspired by our collections
  • Secondary Resources - including our new 'Glasgow: City of Empire - Anti-racism Conversations' resource plus Art and Design critical studies worksheets.    

We have Roman-themed loan kits (see image above) covering 4 themes. Each kit includes set of teaching notes. Collect and drop off at Glasgow Museums Resource Centre. 2 week loan period. Enquire and book through our school bookings team.

Downloadable Trails

Trails for use within our museums, including a comprehensive suite for The Burrell Collection. Most trails are available in venue but please contact museums.schoolbookings@glasgowlife.org.uk if you wish to use one with a group, so we can have sufficient copies printed ready.
