Learn English with Glasgow Life

We offer regular courses for anyone over 16 who wants to learn English as a second language. The ESOL course helps to improve reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Our Community ESOL classes take place in local areas and can help you get ready for college. We offer classes for beginners to people at pre-intermediate level. We also run ESOL Book Groups and Creative Writing Groups for learners at intermediate level and above.

We will invite you to come to an ESOL assessment session first to help us understand your level and give you the right support.

Improving English offers many benefits for learners. It helps people to understand important information and express their opinions and ideas. They can meet people, make friends and feel less isolated. It also increases employability, supports community integration, and improves health and well-being.
