Fairfield Heritage Museum

Join us for a visit to the Fairfield Heritage Museum and explore Glasgow’s remarkable shipbuilding history.

Situated within the former headquarters of the famous Fairfield shipyard in Govan, the museum offers a fascinating insight into the people, ships and engineering achievements that played such an important role in Glasgow’s story. Whether you're interested in local history or simply looking to discover something new, it's a great opportunity to learn more about one of the city's most significant industries. Volunteers from the museum will be leading a talk and tour for us on the day.

Light refreshments will be served.

When: Thursday 29 October 2026, 11:00am – 12:30pm

Where: Fairfield Heritage Museum, 1048 Govan Rd, Glasgow G51 4XS
