My Portal
What is My Portal?
My Portal is the system we use to view our payslips and P60s, request annual leave, check our leave quotas, submit expenses claims and edit personal details.
Managers can also input sickness absence information and run absence reports.
It is the most efficient way for us to input and store data safely and accurately.
Accessing My Portal
All colleagues with network access should have a My Portal account. For new colleagues, managers must request this access once they have been advised of the new colleague's SAP number. See FAQs below for how to request a My Portal account.
FAQs
Your manager should go to the IT Helpdesk page using the link in the IT Support section below. Through the "Service Now" account, they can complete the online My Portal Request form and track developments.
Once CGI confirm that you have an account, your login details should be the same as your network login.
Your login details should be the same as your network login. If this is not the case, raise a ticket with CGI. You can do this using Service Now and the link to this is in the IT Support section below.
It could be that you don't have a My Portal account. See question 1 above.
If you are not a manager, you should have access to e-payslip and Employee Services.
If you are a manager, you should have access to e-paylsip, Employee Services and also Manager Services and Reporting Services.
If you don't think you have the right access level, your manager should complete the online form as advised in Question 1.
If your requests are going to the wrong manager then it is usually because the reporting lines in the system are incorrect. The manager to whom the requests should be going, can contact GL Position Management in the HR Team to ask for reporting lines to be updated: HR Contacts
It is likely your work pattern is not correct in the system. Please speak to your manager about this. Your manager can send the correct work pattern to CBS and ask for it to be updated on your record.

If you are not receiving email notifications of actions required in your My Portal worklist, then it may be that your security details in SAP do not include your email address. You should contact CGI helpdesk for assistance with this. See IT Support section below for contact details.
Managers should check their My Portal worklist regularly and not rely on email notifications to let them know when there are actions required. These checks may be required daily or even more often.
It's possible that your position has not been set up for these services. Your manager should contact Position Management in the HR Team to discuss this.
Non-Portal Users
If your manager has advised you that you do not require a network login, for example, if you do a job that does not require a computer, then you are what is known as "a non-portal user". Payslips will be sent to your home address and your annual leave will be managed offline. You should speak to your manager about how to apply for annual leave.

If you have an issue (e.g. Excel doesn’t open), a service request (e.g. you require access to My Portal) or need to order equipment (e.g. a laptop for a new colleague), CGI should be your first point of contact.
