Värttinä have made a magnificent comeback with their new chart-topping album, Kyly. Founded over 40 years ago as a children’s project in the village of Rääkkylä, the band, which still features one founding member, has evolved into one of the most inventive ensembles in world music.

Since their international breakthrough in 1991, Värttinä has carried the rich sounds of Karelian songs across the globe. Their new album showcases the band's power and authenticity, presenting a sound that is both steeped in tradition and vibrantly contemporary.
