Legendary Irish folk music band Dervish, bring their acclaimed show The Great Irish Songbook to the Pavilion Glasgow as part of Celtic Connections 2025.
The event features a stunning line up of well-known artists performing iconic Irish folk songs with Dervish from their critically acclaimed album of the same name released in 2019. The band will also preview new material from their forthcoming follow-up album, The Great Irish Songbook Chapter 2: Poets and Storytellers, which has a contemporary edge. The album features newly composed songs from Irish songwriters which is due to be released in early 2025.
Special guests of Dervish for the evening will be the Indigo Girls, Moya Brennan from Clannad, Eddi Reader and many more surprise guests on the night which promises to be an extra special occasion.
