Prepare for a spectacular night of genre-bending music as Shooglenifty, the iconic pioneers of 'Acid Croft', return to the magnificent Old Fruitmarket!

For over three decades, this Edinburgh-based Scottish six-piece has been tearing up dancefloors worldwide, blending Scottish traditional music with influences ranging from electronica, psychedelic, disco, and alternative rock. Known for their intricate, groove-based, and hypno-folkedelic mix of traditional and original material, a Shooglenifty show is nothing less than a celebratory, high-energy, live music experience.

The band is championed by critics and fans alike for their superb musicianship and dynamic live performance, which continues to evolve and embrace global sounds while keeping the fire of Scottish roots music burning bright.

Providing support for the evening is the exceptional Irish Alt-Folk band, Moxie. Emerging from deep Traditional Irish music roots, Moxie has forged a unique and colourful sound by merging influences from past and present generations. With a vibrant blend of intricate Irish melodies, modern electronic elements, and captivating vocals from their Tunisian-born French singer, Moxie is redefining 21st-century Irish music with irresistible, revolutionary energy.
