A unique and uplifting opportunity to sing with Celtic Connections favourite, Karine Polwart, in collaboration with choir leader, Stephen Deazley.
Your voices and hearts are welcome! No formal musical or reading skills required. All teaching will be by ear. Singers must be available for all 3 song workshop days in January, culminating in a performance in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday February 1st 2025.
Tickets are available at two self-defined rates, please pay what you can afford. The higher ticket price enables equitable access, helping us to provide subsidised places to community groups.
Workshops will be held in Glasgow on the following dates (venue to be advised):
Saturday 11th January, 10.00am - 4.30pm
Sunday 12th January, 10.00am - 4.30pm
Sunday 26th January, 9.30am – 3.30pm
Tea & coffee will be provided.
Final rehearsal & performance:
Saturday 1st February, 1pm - 10pm
Evening meal will be provided. A survey to collect access & dietary requirements will be sent out ahead of the workshops.
There are 300 places in the choir. “A big, beautiful sound”, says Karine, “so, come away in!”

Restoration fund
