Josie Duncan is a folk singer from the Outer Hebridean Isle of Lewis and Màiri MacMillan was born and brought up on the island of South Uist in the Western Isles of Scotland. Join them for this special collaborative performance celebrating the Gaelic language. 

Josie Duncan and Màiri MacMillan are both GUIR! 2024 artists.  GUIR! is Glasgow Life’s Gaelic Arts incubator programme, started in 2018, to support the development of new Gaelic work across all disciplines.


WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR ACCESS PERFORMANCES

-Maximum running time of 1hr 30 mins including a 20 min interval

-Afternoon start time for easier travel

-Welcoming front of house staff that can assist you in the venue

-Doors open 30 mins before the start of the concert – so there’s lots of time to get settled in

-Unreserved seating with extra wheelchair space and staff on hand to help if you would like to transfer

-Lighting is kept up during performance

-Lower capacity concerts to allow everyone extra space

-No need to keep quiet or sit still; you can come in and out of the space during the show

-Enjoy free tea and biscuits before and at the interval

-Quiet spaces available if you need to take a break from the concert
