Gillebride MacMillan is from South Uist, and comes from a family of native Gaelic speakers. He is perhaps best known for his role as Gwyllyn the Bard in “Outlander”, but he is also a Gaelic consultant and translator, celebrated singer and songwriter, and works as a lecturer at the University of Glasgow.

Gillebride has translated Tintin, Pippi Longstocking and Captain Bobo. 

He now brings us Paddington in Gaelic.
