Festive lighting at Glasgow City Chambers

Visit George Square this winter and experience Glasgow City Chambers like never before. The iconic building will be lit up every evening from 3.30pm to midnight and is free for everyone to enjoy as they celebrate Christmas in Glasgow City Centre.

A 30-minute light show repeats through the evening and features scenes inspired by the North Pole, Elves Workshop, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Santa and his reindeer and classic snowy scenes, as well as displaying the unique architecture of the building in new ways.

The state-of-the-art lighting and projection uses a range of effects, including sky trackers, rotating snowflakes, candy canes and lolly pop swirls across the colourful scenes and visitors to George Square can walk through snow effects on the pavement.
