‘Glasgow Through the Ages’ Walking Tour
As part of the Glasgow 850 celebrations the Health Walks team at Glasgow Life and Glasgow 850 have teamed up to bring a tour of Glasgow through the ages in July 2025.

You will meet our Glasgow 850 volunteers at the Cathedral Precinct outside St Mungo Museum of Religious Life & Art and join them on a walk around the Cathedral Precinct and down High Street towards the Trongate area.
The tour begins at 11am, so please arrive shortly before then to meet your guide.
The tour looks at historic stories of the area, providing an introduction to the city's past - brought to life by our Glasgow 850 volunteers.
This tour will take around 1.5 hours and will walk around the Cathedral Precinct and High Street area.
The walk will be outdoors, walking downhill.
You will cross roads and must remain with the group at all times.
